NAME

       sdm-login - prompts a user for login

SYNOPSIS

       sdm-login

DESCRIPTION

presents the user with a login screen, using zenity(1), similar to the
xdm(1) login prompt. instead of using the XDMCP protocol, sdm-login
uses ssh(1) X11 Forwarding to encrypt the entire ssh session.

configuration options are defined in /etc/sdm/sdm.config and
       /etc/sdm/sdm.config.$hostname

if autologin is set to yes, the login prompt will not be displayed, and
sdm-login will attempt to log in as the same user as the hostname of
the system, unless the user variable is defined in one of the
       configuration files.

FILES

       /etc/sdm/sdm.config /etc/sdm/sdm.config.$hostname

BUGS

does not respond properly to kill signals.
