NAME
3c5x9setup - setup program for the 3Com 3x9 cards.
SYNOPSIS
3c5x9setup [options]
DESCRIPTION
3c5x9setup is a program that you can use to setup 3Com 3c5x9 series
ethercards.
OPTIONS
These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long
options starting with two dashes (‘-’). A summary of options is
included below.
-h, --help
Show summary of options.
-v, --version
Show version of program.
-V, --verbose
Verbose mode
-D, --debug
Show Debug messages
-a, --all
Print all registers
-p, --base-address <port>
Specify port to use
-E, --emergency-rewrite
Re-write a corrupted EEPROM
-f, --force-detection
Force if card is busy
-F, --new-interface <type>
Interface type to be used. This can be 10baseT, 10base2 or AUI.
-P, --new-IOaddress, --new-base-address <port>
New base I/O address
-H, --new-hwaddress <addr>
New base hardware address
-Q, --new-irq <irq>
Specify interrupt number
-w, --write-EEPROM <values>
Write to the EEPROMS with the specified values.
