NAME

xprintmon - X11 program to monitor print jobs in LPRng’s queue.

SYNOPSIS

       xprintmon [ options ]

DESCRIPTION

       To be added...

OPTIONS

       -user username
The argument to this option is given as argument to lpq -s so
only jobs belonging to this user are shown in the overview (that
is the first and main) window. If this option is not specified,
the setting from the resources and that from the environment
              variables is used.

       -iconify
Start as iconified window. Your window manager might not
              support this.

RESOURCES

The resources most interesting to change can be found in the
       /etc/X11/app_defaults/XPrintMon file. Especially interesting:

       XPrintMon.rescan
Milliseconds after which the main window triggers a rescan.
              (Default is 10000)

       XPrintMon*TopLevelShell.rescan and/or XPrintMon*queuename.rescan
Same for the printer windows. (Default is 3000)

       XPrintMon.mainform.user.label
This is the default, if no --user command line argument is
              given.

       XPrintMon.nostart
This is not used by XPrintMon itself. But when it exists the
Xsession.d script this package installs does not start xprintmon
even if there is a start-xprintmon in your
              /etc/X11/Xsession.options file.

ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES

Unless there is a --user command line argument, or the resource
XPrintMon.mainform.user.label is set, the environment variables USER
(and if that is also unset LOGNAME) are used to determine the user,
who’s jobs are counted in the main window.

BUGS

       This description in incomplete.
Options to specify commands (including their paths) are missing.

REPORTING BUGS

Please report bugs or wishlist requests to the Debian BTS (e.g. when
using Debian by starting reportbug xprintmon) or directly to
