NAME

       simctrl - Sim-IM Instant Messenger controller

SYNOPSIS

       simctrl [options] [uin files]

DESCRIPTION

       simctrl  is  command  line  controller for sim(1) which is a simple and
       powerful multi-protocol instant messenger.  simctrl  executes  commands
       either interactively or in batch mode.  Running simctrl without options
       switches simctrl to interactive mode when simctrl  waits  for  commands
       and  sends.   Running simctrl with -c command switches simctrl to batch
       mode.  In both modes simctrl talks with running instance of sim(1).

OPTIONS

       uin files
              UIN files

       -h     Show help about options

       -c command
              execute command on running sim (1) instance.

       -s socket
              use socket file socket for communication with running sim (1).

COMMANDS

       Below are commands simctrl recognizes.  Commands  are  processed  case-
       insensitively.

       STATUS set status

       INVISIBLE
              set invisible mode

       MAINWINDOW
              show/hide main window

       SEARCHWINDOW
              show/hide search window

       QUIT   quit SIM

       CLOSE  close session

       HELP   command help information

       ADD    add contact

       DELETE delete contact

       OPEN   open contact

       FILE   process UIN file

       CONTACTS
              print contact list

       SENDFILE
              send file

       GROUP  get group name

       SHOW   open unread message

       SMS    send SMS
