NAME
open - tool to open or print documents
SYNOPSIS
open [ options ] FILE ...
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the open command.
open is a tool that lets you open documents with the right application.
It also allows to directly print documents non-interactively.
OPTIONS
-a APP Specify an application to use for opening the file(s). (APP
will be launched if it is not running.)
-A APP Like -a, only APP won’t be launched unless a file is opened.
-s If an app is launched, it will be run as if on startup. (Some
apps do different things if "Autolaunched".)
-o Cause following files to be opened (this is the default).
-p Cause following files to be printed instead of opened.
-h, --help
Display this help and exits
