NAME

       ekeyd - Entropy Key Daemon

SYNOPSIS

       ekeyd [ -f configfile ] [ -p pidfile ] [ -v ] [ -h ]

DESCRIPTION

       ekeyd  is  a  daemon  which  connects to Simtec Entropy key devices and
       places the read entropy in the kernels pool.

OPTIONS

       -f configfile
              Specify the name and path of  the  configuration  file,  default
              /etc/entropykey/ekeyd.conf.   -p  pidfile  Specify  the name and
              path of the file used to record the ekeyd process ID.

       -h     Print the usage text and exit.

       -v     Print the version number and exit.

CONFIG-FILE

       All the options controlling the operation of ekeyd are  stored  in  its
       configuration file.

       The syntax of the config file is a series of statements controlling the
       subsequent operation of the daemon.
