NAME

       pconf_autodetect_pport  -  Autodetect  printer on a parallel port using
       IEEE1284 protocol.

DESCRIPTION

       Attempt  parallel  port  autodetection  (IEEE1284).  Return  a   string
       containing a unique printer ID.
