NAME
svpw - enter/delete the supervisor password on a Toshiba laptop.
SYNOPSIS
svpw [ -uh ]
DESCRIPTION
svpw allows the entry and deletion of the supervisor password on a
Toshiba laptop that supports them. It also allows you change whether
the setup utilities can be run in the user password mode. For more
information on password security on your Toshiba laptop please consult
the User’s manual.
For technical reasons this program can only be run from the console.
OPTIONS
When run without any options it displays whether the supervisor
password is registered or not, and allows you to either register
or delete it.
-u Display the current user password mode and allow it to be
changed.
-h Print a short synopsis of the command line arguments.
